Happy New Year and welcome back! We will be focusing on the EOPA certification in Autodesk Inventor 2020 this semester along with designing and constructing a chair project using the CNC. All assignments will be posted on the google classroom. 12/2/2019 Final Project: Presentation Board for 3D modeled product: Due December 18th. Final Exam: Presentation to class. November 13th. 10 objects and practice is complete. Working on a home product that has been dismantled into its parts and modeling each part using Inventor. All parts will be made into an assembly file with presentation drawing. October 8, 2019 Reviewing Inventor using SDC review book in preparation for Inventor Certification Exam. John designed and constructed two Magnet 20th Anniversary signs for the East Cobber Parade. Drafting club students helped him with construction one afternoon. Architecture students helped him with cutting out the stencils and letters by hand and using the laser cutter. August 7, 2019 Exploded Product Project - 6 weeks Find an object such as a household product to bring in. Photograph and break the product into its multiple parts. Model each part using Inventor as a review of the program. Create an assembly of all parts. Layout your drawings on Type ANSI D sheet. Include exploded isometric of assembly, numbered parts, multiviews of each part, sections, and part list, Welcome back! Hope you had a great summer.
