Today we discussed classroom expectations and procedures, and did an ice breaker activity. Ice breaker activity: Students were asked to draw and build a scribble while imagining themselves walking through spaces of a house or other type of building. No glue or tape. Just paper and cutting tools. Goal: To develop model making, visualization, abstract problem solving, and presentation skills. Beginning standard AC-ADDI-2 - Identify components related to the architectural design process.
